Built from your record.
Placed with the right carrier.
Carriers are tightening terms and adding exclusions on GL, auto, and umbrella for many trades. We start your submission from your public license and permit records, take it to carriers that write your trade, and show you what each policy actually covers, not just what it costs.
- Submission started from your record — public license details pre-filled
- Compared on coverage, not just price — limits, exclusions, endorsements
- Bonds on the same account — with our surety partner Propeller
What it covers
- Medical care for a crew member hurt on the job
- Lost wages while they recover
- Employer's liability if an injured employee sues
What we need from you
- Payroll by class code
- Number of employees and how you use subcontractors
- Loss runs from your current and past carriers
- Your experience mod, if you have one
Coverage that holds up when the claim comes.
Price matters, but the policy has to pay. We place every line with carriers that write construction, check the terms against the work you actually do, and keep your certificates and bonds in one account.
Part of the form fills itself.
Enter your license number. We pull what public records already show, such as your business entity, license classifications, and permit history, so you only answer what's left, and underwriters get a complete submission.
Certificates, when the GC asks.
Request a certificate of insurance (ACORD 25) when a GC, owner, or homeowner asks, with the holder and any additional insured your policy allows.
Bid, P&P, and license bonds. On the same account.
Bid bonds, performance & payment bonds, and license bonds through our surety partner Propeller. Propeller uses a soft credit check that doesn't affect your score, and most bonds under $25K issue instantly, signed and sealed electronically.
Workers' comp, classed correctly.
Getting workers' comp right comes down to the details: the correct class codes, your experience mod, and every credit you qualify for.
Builder's risk, compared per project.
Carriers treat soft costs, theft, and weather very differently on the same project. Give us the address and project details and we'll set out each option's terms side by side.
Every line a contractor needs.
Common questions.
Why is my GL or auto renewal going up?
Many carriers are responding to larger jury verdicts and rising claim costs by tightening terms, especially for auto, umbrella, and residential or road work. A complete submission that shows your safety record and permit history is the strongest lever you have.
How many carriers will see my account?
It depends on the line, your state, and your trade. Standard lines like GL and workers' comp usually have more markets than specialty lines. We show you the options we receive, with the terms side by side.
How do you get paid?
We're paid a commission by the carrier you choose, the same way brokers are paid, so our service isn't a separate charge. Bond premiums are set by the surety after it reviews your application.
Can my coverage meet a specific project's requirements?
Yes. We read the requirements (limits, additional insured, waivers of subrogation) and compare them with your policies, so you know about any gap before you bid.
How do I get a certificate of insurance?
Ask us when a GC, owner, or homeowner requests one. We issue the ACORD 25 with the holder and any additional insured the policy allows, and keep a copy on your account.
Do you cover workers' comp for my crew?
Yes. We place workers' comp for contractors based on your payroll and class codes.
What lines do you write for contractors?
General liability, workers' comp, commercial auto, tools & equipment, builder's risk, professional liability, umbrella, and cyber, plus surety bonds.
